| which begs the question I've always been too lazy to look up: is James British or did he just play British on Angel/Buffy? |

He just played British. He narrates a series of "The Dresden Files" audio tapes without the British accent.
Impressive, no?
Sean. |

One solid hope is worth a cartload of uncertainties.

hmmm, I've read all the Dresden books (impatiently waiting for the next!), so I may need to pick up his audiobooks and check it out (always liked his voice, even when he played on Smallville) |

I had to ask myself the same question for the same reason.

He's the bleached-blonde British vampire. He's also known as William the Bloody, but he's allegedly called Spike for torturing people with railroad spikes. Or because his poetry is so bad, you'd prefer to have a railroad spike through your head rather than listen to it.
He modeled his character's accent after the real-life accent of Anthony Stewart Head (who played the Headmaster in School Reunion) whose character Giles speaks with a more refined British accent. |

^ OOOH picture Thank you.
I've never seen 'Spike' or Buffy before but living in the UK and being blasted by the news everytime I look in the paper (or so it feels) I now know all about him.
Actually I'm looking forward to the inevitable chemistry between him, Jack and Martha while Gwen and Tosh swoon over Owen, with poor Ianto glad for anything he can get! |

awww, poor Ianto! he seemed so outside the action last year. Then again, he was the one who Jack played with, and really, a bionic girlfriend? Where's the bad? |

I lost interest with the character Ianto with all his blubbering.
He was more interesting before that.
