Not if his intent was to show how similar the Bane episode of Sarah Jane Adventures was to the "SLURM" episode of "Futurama".
It was commented on liberally when the show first aired. It basically stole the premise from Futurama in its entirety.
(Still, the third episode of SJA "Eye of the Gorgon" was quite good!)

Yes, the third episode aired last Monday.
This gets tough because some guides say last year's Christmas preview was Episode 1.
But for our purposes, let's say the first part of "Revenge of the Slitheen" was Ep1. The second part (which according to all the guides I've seen that were published prior to the airing, was supposed to air the following week but in fact aired the same night) was Ep2.
Ep3 was "Eye of the Gorgon - Part 1". Ep4 will be this Monday's "Eye of the Gorgon - Part 2".
Can't wait. I quite liked part 1.
