Following on from the excellent Pertwee equivalents , Robot has made it onto CD. Read by Tom Baker himself!
I've not heard this yet (it's currently in transit from Amazon, along with Dinosaurs CD), but if the first two 3rd Doctor books on CD are anything to go by, I'm really looking forward to it.

This is an interesting bit of news.
Too bad TB wouldn't have a change of heart and do the occassional Big Finish audio...despite the fact that he is beginning to sound "long-in-the-tooth." |

I've heard somewhere that apparently, Nick Briggs was saying that he's almost persuaded him.
Basically meaning, he got to chat to him for five minutes! 
It would be great to have Tom on Big Finish, far better than wasting his voice on adverts! |

| It was on the Live Podshock that somebody mentioned they had read/heard an interview with Nicholas Briggs who said that he came close to persuading Good Old Tom to do a Big Finish story. I would love the hear/read that interview. Does anybody know where I could find it??? |

If the interview is the one on the subscriber bonus Big Finish Magazine CD issue 10, then that is not the case. Nick said that Big Finish did not get a response from Tom. Tom just joked at a convention about getting some scripts from Big Finish and they "dropped off his knee". Mind you, Briggs was recounting someone else's experiences, and stated clearly that he may have some of the details wrong. |

I dont know if anyone has picked Robot CD up yet? I've got it but still not listened. I was going to start with the new Big Finish spin-offs when I go to bed, but seeing as I'm chatting about this I might start with it.
Purpose of post is Brain of Morbius is coming to audio too......
released 4th February 2008.....
There's also another 3rd Doctor audio which I've posted on the thread for that.
