I'm also intrigued by the fact that Eve Myles also played Gwyneth in The Unquiet Dead. The episode that introduced the time rift running through Cardiff. Will there be a followup or is it just a coincidence?
We did have Freema Agyeman as another character in Army of Ghosts then they followed it up in Smith and Jones that that was Martha Jones cousin Adeola.
Now Martha's working with Torchwood as a liaison for UNIT!
Or am I reading into it that Eve Myles was in a previous episode and I want to make a connection.

Maybe Gwen Cooper and Gwyneth are related?
They're both Welshies after all, and both from Cardiff.
Perhaps Gwyneth is Gwen's Great-Great-Aunt, or cousin from 1869?
And does this mean that Gwen Cooper could have psychic abilities?

This has been a question since it was announced that Myles would be playing Gwen. And, as far as we know, the naming of the character is intentional, but they've never guaranteed that they would explore any possible connection.
On the other hand, Naoko Mori was recently interviewed by Sci-Fi Wire, and she said we'll see an episode still this season that will start to tie together Torchwood and her appearance "Aliens of London". |

Wow! Guessing from the other post here we don't have many fans of "Springtime for Hitler" in this forum. Well the refrence is not lost entirely then.
Cheers,

| Oh yeah, I do recall when she was cast in TW there was a mention that she was reprising her role from AoE. But that seemed odd because Tosh is a computer expert and her character in AoE was a medical doctor/pathologist.
Hmm, Torchwood deep cover agent?

Fascinating. Will that include Suzie or is that no go cuz ya know she's dead!
How did Jack get in on being in Torchwood and how long was he a part of it before the battle of Canary Wharf?

*whispers*
That's two weeks, for those not up on UK phraseology.
I knew because of all my years watching Monty Python, Red Dwarf and Doctor Who!
Which means I'll catch on BBCAmerica about two weeks after you see it.
