    they did that on Doomsday!
But instead of her ACTUALLY dying, they ruined it by locking her in Pete's world! Evil

Could they be filming a regeneration scene I wonder? There was an interview on BBC4 a few weeks ago with RTD who said that he knew when he was leaving and he also knew when David Tenant was calling it a day. Admittedly RTD does bend the truth a little (in the latest SFX magazine he claims that it was always their intention to bring a certain character back after he/she apparently left... Whether this is true or not it proves he is a little bit of a fibber!). I would have thought it would be better for David Tennant to do the specials next year as it may be difficult for a new Doctor to establish himself with only 4 specials in a year but you never know... It wouldn't surprise me too much if this does turn out to be the tenth Doctors final year... gulp...
