| I know that I will probably never order from them again. I haven't seen a business that processed and dispatched orders so slowly. It took 2 weeks for them to get the charge on my credit card and another week to ship the package. I received the first of 2 packages after 4 weeks and now its 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten the second package. I used to order things from the UK by US Mail back in the 80's and it was quicker to get items. This is the second time that I ordered something from them and I wouldn't have this time had I remembered how long it took the first time. The first time I order just one Doctor Who figure and it took so long to get it, I had forgotten I ordered it when I found it on my doorstep. |

Actually, they shouldn't be selling figures (Character Options) to the US market as Underground Toys has the distribution rights to that market. This is one of the reasons Amazon.co.uk doesn't ship toys to the US.
Usually a phone call will straighten things out, if email doesn't work, but that is an added expense. I haven't dealt with FP-int, but another vendor would send me a notification that my order couldn't be fulfilled after many weeks. |

| I did e-mail them, but because of the time difference, I wouldn't hear back till the next day. One e-mail I got from them stated that "all of the items from your order have been despatched". Now, when I received the first package, the invoice stated that 2 items had been removed from the order. The items were backordered and I had asked that backordered items be removed from the order, but that conflicts with the e-mail they sent to me stating that "all" of the items had been shipped. |

Once Underground Toys got the distribution rights I stopped my expensive habit of ordering figures from the UK.
Aren't you within a stone's throw from two major online Doctor Who retailers? Well, a very small, aerodynamic stone... |

I've got very little time for them. Very very slow when it comes to delivery.
They'll give zero indication if something is in stock, and although they seem to be upfront about pre-orders now, they used to advertise and list things that weren't even out.
I've just checked when it was; 23rd July I ordered a load of Doctor Who figures and 2 Alex Ross designed Flash Gordon figures (Flash and Ming). Included in the Who stuff were 2 each of the 2 different scarecrows.
8 Months later I've still not got the Flash Gordon figures (although they've been in Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue for the last month – a different company), and just as bad - the Scarecrows arrived just before Christmas!! The Scarecrow figures have been commonly available for months – and it’s only because I’d already got a few anyway I wasn’t particularly bothered – but as actual service goes that is appallingly slow.
The rest of the order came in dribs and drabs in the weeks after 23rd July. All of the above said though, I remember part of the order of was THe Reaper (deluxe figure) - and that took me totally by surprise, and I had it for some time before I saw one in any shops. Go figure.
Their prices can be pretty good & they pack stuff professionally and carefully (when they do finally send it) but I personally wouldnt use them again. |

Yes, I am close to Who North America and I get stuff from them a lot of the time and I stopped in there last week. I know there is another online place in Indianapolis and one or two near Chicago. But sometimes they don't have somehting in stock that I want. I have ordered from Amazon.UK and they have been very good. I am thinking of ordering some things from the BBC Shop to see how well that goes. |

| Well, it is 29 March and I still haven't received my package from Forbidden Planet. I sent off an e-mail today, waiting to hear back from them. |

| Doctor Who and Primeval action figures. They showed up on my doorstep on 31 March. I still need 3 more Primeval figures and need to find a place to order them from. |

I ordered from Character themselves for the first time yesterday (Connor Temple). I dunno if they do International though. I've tried to get him through regular retailers but haven't found him.
Most Primeval stuff is largely available in the UK, but on the whole I don't really do much mail order - mainly in shop in person. If there's anything you need a hand with let me know, that's cool.

| Character Options doesn't seem to ship to the US. I was going to order Robin Hood figures from the BBC Shop and they don't ship to the US. Amazon.UK sells some figures for other businesses that don't ship to the US either. It is very frustrating at times. |

Well for all it's worth, I think the Robin Hood figures were really poor, and if you haven't ordered I personally would steer well clear.
Even if they had been great, I'd have probably put Robin Hood in the good, but I can't afford everything category (BSG, Judge Dredd, Serenity, 300, countless Marvel ranges - I could go on), but they were just bad. |

| I uset o collect Star Trek action figures. I have over a hundred and would like to get rid of most of them, but I can't find any takers. I have a few Babylon 5 figures and one Batman. I got interested again when the Doctor Who range came out. I only wish they made some Life on Mars figures. |
