| Anyone a fan of the Eighth Doctor's comic adventures? If so, what do you think is his best story? |

Well, I wouldn't consider McCoy a Comic Doctor.
Some of the writing for his series was pretty bad, but I wouldn't call him a Comic.
Watch Curse of Fenric, or Ghost Light or Remembrance of the Daleks.
Tom Baker's adventures, especially in his last seasons, were far funnier, even written and edited by Douglas Adams.
Troughton had his funny moments.
Now Hartnell, Pertwee and Davison played it up mostly without the laughs, but even they had their moments.
Remembrance especially is quite serious. And while Ghost Light is a bit of an LSD trip, it isn't really comical. And Curse of Fenric is a nice serious vampire story.

I think he is refering to the strips in DWM. Like the ones reprinted in Endgame (the graphic novel) we discussed not too long ago.

(Pssst... I think that Sean is just very tired... The eighth Doctor is not even Sylvester McCoy... Shhh... Don't say anything.)

| Annnnywayyy . . . anyone catch the Radio Times strips? The bulk of them give a pretty in-depth treatment to Ice Warrior sociey that I've never seen anywhere else. If you've seen these, and they're available online, do you agree or disagree with the way the Ice Warriors are portrayed? |
