| Gee, I was expecting something a lot more spoilery than that! |

Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

Not spoilery at all. My bet is that it's a fake and we won't see the actual title until broadcast.

Yes, I agree not very spoilery at all.
It was much more of a spoiler to show the you-know-whos and you-know-who (possibly) in the you-know-what.
Do you know what I mean? |

Why did they even hold this initial info back? It's not like the title really spoils anything - the disappearing planets/stars has been the season-long theme anyway, along with the name-dropping of the Shadow Proc. And they STILL don't come right out and say who's back - lol.
I'll laugh when it's Omega instead of D-dog - well, not that it would happen, but still... |

That makes it sounds like they are assembling not just Tennant's old crew, but scores of old allies.
Could we also see the Doctor's Army led by a certain mustachoied officer? |

The more I think about it the more I agree. I mean I can sort of understand hiding the synopsis (even though the main villains appeared in one of three promos before the season had even started)but why the title? It gives away less than for example than the Poisoned Sky |

"It gives away less than for example than the Poisoned Sky"
Or The Doctor's Daughter.
When it comes to episode titles, Davies does not know how to be subtle.
So the withholding of this episode title, only for it not to really be a spoiler at all, is rather odd. |

Since one of the "arc threads" has been [ spoiler ]missing/lost/stolen planets[ /spoiler ], I think that the title of this episode is just like Bad Wolf was in series one. It is intimately related to a plot thread and as such, can be thought of as a spoiler of some sort.
If we had known that the title was [ spoiler ]The Stolen Earth[ /spoiler ] from the beginning, then it would have brought more focus on those specific bits of dialog. Now, those that have picked up on that dialog can feel a sense of accomplishment on having noticed them. |

And I was gonna start a similar thread today with the thought that the episode was gonna be named "Davros".
I like The Stolen Earth much better - just wish someone would explain the Daleks obsession with Earth! (other than RTD showing there don't seem to be any other planets out there than earth, or those colonized by earth! |
