Hi All - now I've had a Webpage of well over ten years at:-

here
But it never seems to be enough - Goodness knows how Louis keeps up all his sites - and that's why up 'til now I've not had a 'blogger type' page.
Well today I've joined MySpace - after Louis (yes it's your fault!!) said it had had an update and was a bit calmer - but I'm still a little lost - even with Ian's help.
So I need some friends to put me on the Map - so if you don't mind helping an old-timer - please seek me out at:-

Ha! Hey, don't blame me. After all, the the first thing I say on my page there is to advise people to move on from MySpace! LOL. My "page" there is basically to redirect people here or elsewhere.
Yeah the recent update to the GUI is much better than it was before, though it's still a bad Taco Bell menu knock-off of user interfaces with butt-ugly ads coming at you left and right.
But hey, whatever curls people's socks folks.

There's nothing to Twitter. It could be defined it as a micro-blogging site, but I use it simply as a communication tool. I use Twitter all the time without ever going to the twitter.com site at all by simply using Twitter clients on my computer and iPhone. It is similar to using an IM client... there's really not much to maintain. It's simple yet powerful and it doesn't interfere with my work flow. Unfortunately, it's been a bit of a victim of it's own success the last few months with it's outages, but it's been slowly getting through the growing pains. But there's nothing to log into for me, I just launch the client on which every platform I am using at the time. No friends to approve, no ads, no gated community, no bacon, it's all free... Of course this may all change at some point, but for now I find it has all the benefits of instant messaging without the downfalls of it.
Others use it in different ways. So one can make of it what they will. I was very initially very weary of it and at first didn't see the benefits of it. It's all how you use it.
