[Quote by: TerriJo]I think it's interesting that there was no hint of a regen in the press, official or otherwise, and I agree that's the strongest argument against a true regeneration. They did make a point of reminding us that the Dr's hand is still there, with its fresh, undamaged, David Tennant DNA. Perhaps he will regenerate, but back into himself?

There were pictures in The Sun of the fallen Doctor being tended to by Rose and Jack many months ago... I think they "stole" a fan's picture on the same page. So, hints were there, if you knew where to look. |

| Fair point. But I think that a new regeneration would be a publicity opportunity that the producers would not want to miss. For this reason, I'm sticking to my theory that this is not a real regeneration. Not that it matters. It's still the most excellent cliffhanger that we've had! |

| Mind you having said all that, the British media seems to have gone into overdrive speculating about tomorrow's episode. Whether this be a true regeneration or not, hats off to the production team for creating such interest and excitement. The number of replies to this posting alone just goes to show how good this episode was! |

spoilers... spoilers... spoilers... you probably won't find them in this post.
The Stolen Earth has caused me to do something I've never actively sought out since the beginning of the new series: I've spent the past week attempting to find any "real" spoilers for Journey's End. I can't help myself. I've been acting like a kid who refuses to wait for Christmas morning. I've searched through countless forum posts, articles, and blog entries. I've even stumbled across two separate diatribes that swear on a stack of comic books that they have the "real scoop" regarding the most anticipated episode of Doctor Who since the series was brought back in 2005. I have a strong feeling both articles are just a pack of lies or half-truths.
I can't believe some of the fascinating stuff people have come up with in the past few days. I've been sifting through magnificent ramblings regarding cloned Doctors, new Doctors, old Doctors, botched regenerations, successful regenerations, hidden villains, multiple villains, noble ladies, time ladies, daughters, granddaughters, double bluffs, three-fold man, erased memories, false memories, one heartbeats, two heartbeats, no heartbeats, alternative realities, parallel universes, time beetles, and the list goes on for days.
I'll be seeing this episode in less than 24 hours, but it feels like an eternity (eternal death?).
Jay
p.s. - I still think it might be the Axons. |

So, either way is grammatically correct. Hence, the Doctor says in "School Reunion", "The oil is making them cleverer", while Martha says "more clever" here. Both are fine, as evidenced by the fact that the definition of "cleverer" in the dictionary is "more clever". |

I think in the UK it might be one of those 'talk proper' - no you 'speak properly' type of points.
It could be a US/UK
Or - dare I say it (whisper it might be a class thing) here in the UK
(said in a posh voice) Cheers, don't you know, daveac

| | Just to go back to something safe and non-spoilery on the eve of the big day, what has always bugged me is Eccleston's "these are about the four most safest walls in the whole of Great Britain" from "World War III". That's just wrong on either side of the Atlantic. |

Quite right. Look at my posting above. One syllable adjectives add -est or -st in their superlative form with only three exceptions, 'safe' not being one of them. As you say: 'just wrong'! |

On re-viewing I finally caught this line from DT-
DT- "What day is it?"
Milkman- "Saturday."
DT- "Good, I like Saturdays." |
|
Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!
