Oh yeah, 13min. 49sec. well spent. The pertinant info follows.
ACT ONE will go up Tuesday July 15th. It's up now.
ACT TWO will go up Thursday July 17th.
ACT THREE will go up Saturday July 19th.
All acts will stay up until midnight (unknown timezone) Sunday July 20th. Then they will vanish into the night, like a phantom.
They will still be avalible past that point, just not for free. |

| Pretty wacky. It's great to see Nathan Fillion (Captain Mal Reynolds, now Captain Hammer) again. |

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

I have no idea what this is about. The promotion and advertising of it had not crossed my eyes or ears by any means whatsoever. Now with that said, I must also that I have to be in a minority because I have been hearing so many other friends and associates speak of this "Dr. Horrible" thing.
So from an advertising point of view, I am just curious on how everyone has learned of this? It has to be genius if nothing else.... it seems like everyone is buzzing about it. Was it all word of mouth? I see from this post that it is coming from Josh Wheldon, so perhaps the people who know about normally keep up with him (I assume he may have a website or blog).
Anyway, I am just curious on how it has been promoted. It has obviously worked.
Cheers,
Louis |

If memory serves, I think I first heard about this on the Geek Brunch Podcast. One of the hosts is one of our members here (Heath Holland). It had skipped my mind till Daine posted it here. |

LOL... it's a musical! LOL
People just break out in song. It happens all the time. I went to the store, and the cashier sang my change back to me. "Thirty five cents is your change, sir... thirty-five.. thirty-five...."
Yep.

| Though I am biased since I am a fan of most of Joss Whedon's work, I have to say that this was very well done considering the budget and scale of the project. I enjoyed both Act's I and II thoroughly. |

I learned about it from an interview I saw with Nathan Fillion.
Total laugh riot! Can't wait for the third act coming up on Saturday. |

I'm a big whedon fan, too. I'll probably even buy it when it's released, assuming it's reasonably priced. |
