Was watching BBC America and they had "Love & Monsters," from 2nd Season. Ok not a great DW adventure like the later ones.
But I noticed as I thought from the first time and when I watched the DVD of the episode, when they showed the slab with Ursula's face-it didn't have the video [camera recording borders] on it each time. So in there's a good chance her voice could have been in his head. And we were just hearing his thoughts.Razz

I know it's probably been mentioned before, but just had to say it so it wasn't bugging me till I did. Mr. Green

tell me-the later styled ones were best. Blink, Midnight, Turn Left.
would to have seen how the Original series would have done something like the One Shot cameos. Cool

Well, there's "Mission to the Unknown". Not that we can actually see it anymore. And there are any number of individual episodes where the Doctor isn't present. Sadly there aren't any "Midnight"-y episodes where the Doctor's companions aren't present, because of the abundance of companions during the black and white era. Part of the reason you needed multiple companions back at the beginning was so that you could always have a companion around. It might've been a punishing production schedule that forced you to take your vacations in the middle of filming, but the virtue of the bigger cast was that you could rotate the vacations around the principal cast so that the viewer largely didn't notice an absence.
