Besides, the USA has a number of things that you can't get by filming in England (at least without special effects). A few scenic examples include Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls. Or a few manufactured things unique to the US like the HOLLYWOOD sign, the White House, or the Kennedy Space Center.
There could be some great script ideas surrounding places like those.
Just because the set might be in the US I don't think it would lose any of its British feel. |

And another thing...the 2009 specials would be helpful in answering a couple of questions like...
1. Why is Queen Elizabeth so PO'd at the Doctor when she arrives at the end of "The Shakespere Code."
2. What were the Doctor and Martha frantically trying to take care of in "Blink" when Carrie Mulligan's character first sees him and gives him her list of DVD's? |

Umm not wanting to be a downer but has everyone neglected the fact that there was a lead in the story about the specials that said David Tennant was leaving at the end of them???
Has that been disproven or discounted or what?

Last I read in the rumour mill is that Tennant is in negotiations with the Beeb for series 5 and a movie. Make of that what you will. |

Just to set the record straight as it is... The image embedded in my previous post from Blogtor Who is not from an upcoming episode/special of Doctor Who. It has been (forgive the expression) doctored to look as it is though. "Photoshoped" as some may call it.
It is really an image of Sir Albert Finney as Winston Churchill in The Gathering Storm.
I am not saying Blogtor Who is responsible for it or not, I don't know. I just don't want to mislead anyone. When I posted it I hadn't inspected it that closely until just now realized that the image was manipulated. I then set out to locate the actual image that was used for it. (see below)
Apologies if the image mislead anyone. It was never our intent.
