Desperate to hear the live podcasts relating to Season 4, but I've been holding off till they become official podshock episodes.

Is this still going to happen, or will they remain as unofficial podshocks on the Talkshoe site?

If so, I will download the whole bloomin' lot immediately.

    Many thanks,

    Andrew

Here's my thinking right now (which of course is always subject to change). Going through all the live shows from the 2008 series to do post production work right now will only bog things down and slow down the roll out of newer studio shows now being recorded. After all we are still clearing out material that were recorded prior to the 2008 series.

So what may (most likely) happen is that the recorded live episodes will just stay in their raw unedited ("rough ready and raw") state they are in now and keep them on the live feed. They will probably be numbered to be in sync with the rest of the Doctor Who: Podshock episodes.

By keeping them on the existing raw live feed, it will satisfy those that expressed they didn't have an interest in listening to the live shows. So they won't need to skip through them on the main feeds.

So yeah, you may grab them now if you like. Just keep in mind that they are raw and unedited.

During much of the 2008 series when we were recording the live review episodes, I was busy preparing for the upcoming JumpCon tour, developing and producing the JUMP The POD show, and then rebuilding their website from the ground up. This was an around-the-clock operation in order to be prepared for the launch of the tour in July. Unfortunately, as we all know now it was all for naught. But it did mean that I had absolutely no spare time to work on post-production of the raw live review episodes we were recording at the time. Now it seems a little late to do them and as I said, it will only further delay production schedules.

    Cheers,
    Louis

Brilliant. Lots of catching up to do. Perfect timing - will fill the gap now the series is no longer on the air.

And I'm enjoying the studio shows as well, especially the review of The Ark.

    Thanks.
