Looks interesting though some of the content on the site is unavailable for non-UK visitors.

Just watched a very short trailer - and I shouldn't judge so quickly - but it looks like another Adric is born
EDIT - should also add I'm miffed it's not showing on BBC HD either - and I should hope it was made in HD.
Cheers, daveac

Well just watched Merlin
No real spoilers from me but could be added later.
Well the young lead was a bit better than Adric :-) - but I hope he improves.
Think 'Robin Hood' (the recent BBC one) - it was better than that but a little 'tongue-in-cheek' and it did get better as it went along.
Could still be quite a good series - an worth a watch - and there are some good performances in it.
Fair effort with pretty good special effects.

I thought it was really good.
I didnt realise it was so associated to the Doctor Who/Torchwood scene (it was made by BBC Wales, gave thanks to RTD and guest starred Eve Myles).
I thought the dragon was particularly excellent.
Looking forward to the rest of it.

I kinda thought Eve was wooden - just not much to work with maybe. Anthony Head plays a donkey (read the other word for it) quite well, so I enjoyed him.
I'll catch it again, but I really did have issues with the concept of Arthur being born before Merlin arrived (versus the stories I'm familiar with where Merlin "arranged" for YGraine to have Uther's kid). Still, nothing else on to watch.... |

What an awful show. Whats with Morgana being he ward and Utha bringing up Arthur and being the same age as merlin. its ALL just so wrong.
I actually smiled as i deleted it from my sky plus.
I had to watch excalabour in order to clense myself of this total rubbish.
Nothing about... oh I just dont have the words |

That's a ringing endorsement if there ever one!
Really, tell us what you really think of it. LOL.
