I'm going to try my hand at podcasting and have decided to do a show centered on reviewing classic series DVD releases in the US. My personal collection is growing and I thought, why not?!?

Now, compared to many of you... I'm a toddler in a world of marathon runners, but my first episode is up and I'd appreciate any feedback you may have.

You can find it here: http://drhoo.podhoster.com/rss/1968/

and it should be on iTunes soon enough (I'm still fumbling my way through all of this!)

    Thanks so much!

    David

I had a listen last night. Interesting review. I haven't seen Planet of evil. but I was watching the Ark in space extras last night and the production designer was being interviewed ( sorry forgot the name).
he mentioned designing sets for Ark, Sontaran Experiment and the planet of evil

How often will you be releasing these? I have subscribed already Smile

    Dave,

I was so honored! Thank you for the plug! Allow me to return the favor! I will do so in Episode 4 when I review "Tomb of the Cybermen".

On that note, Episode 3 is up and is the review of the First Doctor episode "The War Machines"

There is now an enhanced version of the podcast at:

Episode 4 is up where I review Tomb of the Cybermen along with my guest co-host Steve D.(deckard57).

The enhanced version is up and I'm working on the mp3 version but the file size is WAY too big, so I need to look at re-compressing it and maybe doing that to my enhanced podcasts as well. Anyone have any advice on what compression rate to use for these? I've heard as low as 32k is still decent quality.
