An Unearthly Child: Cliched but it has to be said.

Planet of Giants: This one gets a lot of stick but for it's time is technically very accomplished and is very entertaining.

The Romans: For it's comedy value.

The Space Museum: The first episode is one of the best in the series history and the other three aren't as bad as is usually made out.

The Time Meddler: Featuring some great line fluffs and the beginning of one of the best Tardis crews.

Can't go wrong with "the Daleks (the Mutants)" and "The Dalek invasion of earth". I also enjoy what's left of "The Tenth Planet".

Dalek Master Plan deserves a mention, even through I listened to the thing entirely as audio I loved it (expect for episode 7 but that's expected)

The Massace is also a favorite Hartnell for me, for being the only story (I believe) with only one male companion for all four episodes (expect for the last 2 minutes when Dodo turns up)

    bye bye david :(

An Unearthly Child-As good a piece of 60's TV as you will find. Start here.
The Daleks-The one that really cemented Dr Who in the British TV notice
Reign of Terror-A really underestimated classic. Brilliant acting
    The Aztecs-See above
    Dalek Invasion of Earth-a classic
The Time Meddler-A really good Fun Romp
