Inspired by Those Podcasts That Go On Before Me, and with a love of the RTD Era, I'm giving podcasting a try. It's the "Two-minute Time Lord" podcast. My goal is to provide regular concentrated commentary (not news; the Sonic Newsdriver and doctorwhonews.com own that market) from the perspective of a fan who rediscovered and came to love the show in 2005.
I did a first episode a month ago, only to encounter technical problems (short version: Movable Type bad, Wordpress good). Hopefully I'm on track to continue with this thing, as I learn how to podcast for myself. I'm newly amazed at what Louis, Ken and James are able to accomplish; right now it's taking a ridiculous amount of time to put together two minutes of audio (not counting opening and closing)!

Fixer,
As a new podcaster myself, let me say Welcome! It IS a lot of work, and the Podshock guys DO make it look easy! I think you'll find (as I have) that everyone on this forum who podcasts is very nice and generous with their knowledge and support.
I'll be happy to throw you a plug on my next episode!
Best wishes!

I'm trying to only spam the thread every couple of episodes or so, but I'm really proud of this one. Hope you like it!
Who shall stand? Who shall fall?! The 2009 Hugo Award nominees include two 2008 Doctor Who episodes: "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead" written by Steven Moffat, and "Turn Left" written by Russell T. Davies. Should Moffat pick up his fourth in a row? Is it time for another feather in Davies's cap? My wife Shannon and I reveal all!

Though it is slow in coming, there is an inked version of the 10 Doctors in the works by eclecticmuse aka. Stephanie Jackson on deviantart. She is only up to page 6 so far, but I am looking forward to more forthcomming. Rich's work is a fun read indeed. |
