Two new Sci fi shows on Canada's SPACE CHANNEL look really cool. I haven't seen them yet but they look interesting and experitmental and different.

Othr show from UK and Canada include DARK ORACLE and THE FUGITIVES.

Please check out my blog, as I attempt to watch and review EVERY Doctor Who episode!

Had a chance to see ep3 and 4 of both of these kids's series. They are magnficient.

STORMWORLD has good actors, a great setting, and a large and grand plot. Two boys get trapped on a planet after encounterin a vortex and end up having to work with many others to find out how to get back and survive where they are. The storms complicate things and a traitor among their ranks works with other villains to take what they can get. The air is warm, the oceans blue, the bugs dangerous, and there are mountains, deserts, mind numbing altering storms, and beautiful photography and underwater sequences. Amazig. Too bad the US will never get thi.

GRAND STAR is similar in its greatness but different in almost every other way. The actors are very good. The sun seems to have gone out. I'll write that again. THE SUN SEEMS TO HAVE GONE OUT! WHat a concept for a 22 or 26 ep show. The effects on both shows are adequate and impressive at times. The settings ae amazing. It's lethal to be on the surface of Earth without protection, there are huge ice storms and snow everywhre, and one gov't trying to control everything. It turns out they may not all be as corrupt as first thought. And one of the teens has ESP/mind controlling/telepath like powers.Just fantastic and well filmed, just as STORM WORLD is.
