I was wondering - since the new series is airing at the moment ("new" being open to interpretation depending on where you live), how about having a live Skype chat about the new series on some predetermined date?
I'm not suggesting making a Podcast out of it, just getting listeners together at a prearranged time to talk it over. Maybe Sunday evening (which I realise would almost certainly count out Louis, Ken and James since that's when I think Podshock is recorded).
What do you all think?

P.S. Is it just me or has the Forum link from the front page disappeared? I could have sworn there was a link somewhere on there. |

No, it was not just you... The Forum link did disappear for a short while today after a major update to the site was completed. It is back up there now, though at the moment as a link in the second menu line. I am going to try to move back up to the first where it was... well, I will see about that.
As for a live chat, this has been suggested to us before. The trouble with Skype is that there are limitations to it's bandwidth and you begin to run into trouble as you add more people into a conference. A text chat will work better.
It may be something we might be able to add to our site... I will be looking into that and keep you posted.
Cheers,

As an alternative, what about some other medium such as Teamspeak? It's used for online gaming but all you need is a server and you can get more people on than I reckon you can with Skype.

At first I wasn't sure what you meant... but I am guessing now you mean the colours are out of whack for quotes as well as other areas of forum section. This did not happen to me at first... but I see it now. Very odd... I will see what I can do to fix it. But it may have to wait a bit as I am feeling a bit burned out at the moment.

OK, it should be fixed now... (Some CSS data was overwritten during the updating... and once I discovered that is what had happened, I was able to retrieve the data from a backup and place it back in)...
Further updating will wait until after I get some needed sleep.

Cheers Louis, it is. I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong when I was trying to post a quote and it wasn't standing out. Then I saw everyone else's was the same so I figured it must have been some alteration. Thanks for the work. The second menu bar looks good. You'll have to give us all a run through of what's new/changed.
