Amazon UK already allows their customers to preorder the second series box set. Check it out. It's nice to see that they are keen to sell it!

    Thank you James,

I will give it a butchers and a serious think.

The only reason I have to think about it is I arrived in England last year for a holiday the day before it was released to the shops So I went to W.H Smiths, Virgin and HMV in Portsmaouth looking for the best deal. I found it for about the same price I would have paid with Amazon.

Anyone from Outside of the U.K. should remember that local sales tax (V.A.T. 17%) is deducted by Amazon (or most of the big U.K. web sellers)for overseas sales but you may be forced to pay local import taxes.

You should also remember that these are region 2 discs so you will either have to convert to our lo dcal region or have a multi region Dvd player.

I generally convert so I can watch with friends at their houses and if he multi region breaks down you are wholess (at least temporarily.) Looking forward to hearing about the Cavern James

Is PlayUSA.com any cheaper for you guys over there? They have it in the UK (where it's called Play.com) and it's based in Jersey (which is a tax haven in the UK) so there is no VAT and it's often free delivery too.

I bought a couple of those as well last year but the audio options were standard and the boxed set came with Dolby Digital so this year I will wait.

But don't forget to review this

    Doesn't seem to be!

On a quick check the boxed set goes for $69.99 on Amazon with free shipping but it is $98.99 on playusa (delivered.)

Can't be almost $20 to ship so I am guessing not. it is difficult to say because they seem to quote prices with shipping included.
