...but check out this cake!
I wondered if anyone else has seen something Doctor Who related that isn't a collectable as such.
I once saw a Tardis made of plaster in a garden centre along with the garden gnomes!!!
But I saw this cake in York - it's so fantastic that to cut it and eat it would be a sin!!! I took a picture through the window:

I suppose I must be pretty sad to go in the shop and take a picture from a different angle too!!!

I know that if anyone will appreciate this - then it's you guys! I was going to e-mail it to the fab3 to see if they wanted it for the gallery - but it might not be good enough for that.

Wow... That is amazing! I have seen Doctor Who baked goodies before, even Dalek cupcakes... but the craftsmanship and artistry here is simply incredible.
Yeah, I was going to suggest that you may want to post the image to the Gallery. Go to the Doctor Who Related Gallery and use the pop-up menu on the top to add media.
Good stuff. Too good in fact to take a knife to it in order to cut and eat it.
Cheers,

I bet a Tardis cake would be easier to make! At least it's an easier shape - you'd go a bit hyper though with all the blue food-colouring!!!!
I'm glad you like the cake! When I'm next in York I'll see if they've got any other Dr. Who cakes!!!
It was about the same size as the remote-control Dalek that is out now. Pretty impressive - they had lots of amzing shaped cakes - but that one was just fab. |

I took this a couple of weeks after - I've seen a few of these scattered around - this was covered in Seagull poo at Scarborough. Not the best Tardis ever - but you always see people standing outside having their picture taken!

I've seen that one in Scarborough....at least I think so, the one I saw was on the sea front by the harbour and the background to your photo doesn't look very seasidey so maybe there is more than one.
The best place to spot TARDISes (or is that TARDI?) is Glasgow. They seem to have quite a few up there.

Don't laugh. It could happen.
Seriously, though, my significant other is turning 30 at the end of January, and I plan on making his birthday cake in the shape of a TARDIS. Not three-dimensional, though, just looking like the front of the cake. He was one of the ones who got me into the show, so I figured that it would be a great surprise for him.
I started stocking up on blue food coloring already. |

Go for it Talia! Make sure you send me a slice. Mmmmmm!!!
@ Abersoch - this is that very Tardis, it is just infront of the harbour, it doesn't look it in the photo - but really it is! |
