Yes, this is a bit of a joke, but while looking online for a new latern for camping, I came across a Sonic Flashlight. I had to do a doubletake, because my brain automatically read: sonic screwdriver. Pretty sure there is a banana grove where the factory used to be, so I knew this sonic device definitely wasn't made to resonate concrete.
Still, but of a funny for those of us on the forum.

Hmm... I am still trying to figure out what is sonic about it? Other than the name... I don't see anything it does that relates to sonic.
Cheers,

I've read several descriptions of the thing and don't see anything remotely sonic about it. However, they do keep referring to "patented electronic circuitry" that is designed to extend the life of a single AAA cell to 10 hours of use. Perhaps there's something "sonic" about the circuitry or maybe they simply thought the word "sonic" sounded cool.
Personally, I would buy just about anything with the word "sonic" added to its description. Right now I'm looking for a Sonic Doorknob and a Sonic Toaster. |

assuming that you could control it enough not to hurt the 'beverage of choice' inside the bottle!
Louis, I've no idea why this is sonic -- not sure how a toothbrush can be sonic either, but I still use one that says it is... |

Same here... at least since the beginning of June. Though I thought it sent sonic waves through and around the teeth to break up any plaque, tartar, etc... Though in practice I am not sure it actually does that, but instead just vibrates...
