This also needs to be fixed. It fell prey to the dreaded double-html syndrome. I'll fix the links in my quoted text. ...

Thanks for the heads-up... I fixed the links in the original message.

    Cheers,

Just came across this offer on bbc.co.uk regarding a classic series novel, "Nightshade." Not sure what it is yet, and as I'm at work, I cannot quite download it.

I did find this information on the website:
Editor's note: Nightshade was originally written with a mature audience in mind, and contains strong language. Some characters also express racial attitudes prevalent in parts of British society at the time the book is set. Nightshade may therefore not be suitable for younger fans of the series.

The Changing face of Doctor Who: The illustrations contained within this ebook portray the Seventh Doctor Who, whose physical appearance was later transformed when he was fatally wounded by gunfire. His companion in this adventure is explosives expert Ace, a teenager from the 1980s.

So, is this a book that was released previously written by Gratiss, or someone else's novel that Gratiss has "reimaged" for a modern audience? Not sure, but at the very least, it's a free bit of fun while we wait until series 3.

    Nightshade

and now I've realized that there are many ebooks on Doctor Who available at bbc online. You can see the available books at this link

(Louis - This maybe needs to be moved to the General section; if you agree, go ahead and move it. -- thanks!)

This also needs to be fixed. It fell prey to the dreaded double-html syndrome. I'll fix the links in my quoted text. The ebooks all appear to be free to download and are available in PDF format as well as three types of portable book format. They have some interesting images in galleries for the books. The Nightshade gallery includes a picture of the "tertiary console room". I'll have to read the book to see if they are trying to build some retroactive continuity with the old series console room and the 8th Doctor movie and new series console room.

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

    Good and useful information.

If I have the time I will read them.

    Thank you both
