I've been hunting everywhere but can't seem to find out when Torchwood is supposed to start - everything I find just says October 2006 - have they even named a release date?
If Worzel Gummidge and the Third Doctor had a fist fight - who would win?
I've also been searching trying to find any new information on the show, when it's going to start, etc. I haven't been able to find much at all. For some reason I was under the impression it was starting in October, but maybe I was confusing it with Battlestar Galactica.
I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)
ditto to the above. Always a worry (in my mind) when they do not update the website... doing the "rose colored glasses thing" I'll say that if the show was to come out in autumn, then we have until mid-December....
Well if you listen to Paul's latest Whocast (or the DWOWhocast as it's now called) Seb from DrWho-online says they they are supposed to be showing the Torchwood trailers over the next couple of weeks.
I was most excited to finally see a trailer for Torchwood on Saturday after Robin Hood. A quick check on You Tube this morning and I find a 57 second version!!
EDIT - I hadn't seen the other thread (Trailer shown in cinema) before I posted this link - doh!!!! 100 lines, I must keep up to date with the postings in The Gallifreyan Embassy forum!

Off Topic: What did you think of that Robin Hood?
I thought it was very poor.
Only the actor playing Guy of Gisbourne (the actor from the TV series North & South (UK N & S not US Civil war)) was any good.

Still off topic:
I'm not sure really, at the time I wasn't greatly impressed but on reflection I think it was quite good fun - after all, TV is pretty poor at the moment!!
It certainly isn't up to Doctor Who standards and if I miss an episode I won't lose any sleep but if it's on I'll watch it.
At least there is a tenuous Doctor Who link:-
Much - played by Sam Troughton, son of David son of Patrick!

After you guys sent me to YouTube to watch the teaser, I spent a whole hour watching clips of interviews with John Barrowman. That man is FUN-NEE! Have any of you watched the clip from Loose Women? It's long, it barely covers Capt. Jack Harkness, but it certainly gives the impression of John being ALOT like Jack.... I'll never think of bagpipes in the same way....
