I have been enjoying the ads they've been showing throughout the month to promote it. Still a bit strange to have it on both SciFi and BBCA, but I'll go with the more Doctor exposure there is, the better for the show.

BBCA now has a Sci-Fi Saturday night where they air Doctor Who, Afterlife, and Hex. They are actually showing Doctor Who (S1) a couple times per week but they always debut their "new" stories on Tuesday nights.

Yeah, and they do a fair amount of good promoting of the series too as well. Big Grin

Just had to give a bit of a gripe on BBCA:

over the weekend they showed "Dalek." I tuned in last night at 9pm (Central time) hoping to see "The Long Game." But no! It was back to "Rose!"

Not that watching "Rose" again was horrid or anything, but why can they not show a series in order? Why must they jump through episodes (even if they show the series on multiple days through the week, I just wish there was some chronology to their schedule!)

    thanks for reading my gripe....

BBC America is going to show the complete series, but for some reason they decided to extend it by taking a break and showing "repeats" or "reruns" again and then pick up where they left off with The Long Game. If I am not mistaken, the future episodes may be in our Calendar section.

I guess they are doing something similar to what the Sci-Fi Channel does with Battlestar Galactica by breaking up the season into two. First showing the first half the season, and then showing the second half later on, thus stretching it out as a longer run.
