I've been to their site before... I think (though I am not sure) we even have a link to them in our Web Resources... They are very nice replicas. Though the K9 does not have any working lights or such... it is still nice looking. But no longer being made. I think I would rather get a TARDIS from them instead Smile

But I am sure the shipping to the US would kill me, not to mention the cost of the bloody thing in the first place ($3,711.90 US dollars)! Eek!

My 1/4 scale K-9 arrived yesterday (Tuesday)... I felt like Sarah Jane Smith when I saw this big box and I opened it up to find a K-9 in it. After freeing it from it's imprisonment that is toy packaging... I gave it some trial runs.

It's great.. I didn't expect the extending and retracting laser rod coming out of his nose. I thought I broke it at first because I didn't realize there was packaging tape holding it in. But I removed it and worked well.

For some reason, it tends sometimes get stuck when trying to turn. I haven't had this trouble with the RC Daleks I have... so I am not sure what the problem might except for that perhaps K-9 has a different weight distribution and center of gravity than the Daleks... Checking the front motorized wheels and rotating back wheel, it all seems to be operating normally though.

Has anyone else noticed that the RC K9 doesn't move as well as the RC Daleks? Or perhaps it is just an isolated problem with mine, I am not sure. Perhaps new batteries might help too.

It would have been cool if his suction cup antenna also extended and retracted and his tail antenna wagged... but I guess you can't have everything.

I still want a full scale version. LOL
