Bio: Although only a Doctor Who fan for the last couple of years, I picked up the fever, and the only prescription is more Tardis groan. I know, that was terrible and I promise to flog myself for it later. I had only an inkling of Doctor Who as a child growing up in Oklahoma. I knew it was on PBS and the guy had a gigantic scarf. Which one could that have been? It was always around in some form or fashion, but I never took the time to see for myself.

Flash forward to about three years ago and I catch an article about how Doctor Who is back and more popular than ever with Christopher Eccleston in the role. News began to leak out that the series would be coming stateside. I took it upon myself to dive into the ocean of information that is Outpost Gallifrey. Being as obsessive as I am, it wasn't long that I had a basic base of information to reference. I netflixed the Talons of Weng Chiang and I was off and running. I never looked back.

I love both the new and old series. Tom is probably my favorite but Tennant may have won that spot after another wonderful season. I am beginning to truly appreciate the manic genius of Troughton's Doctor. While I love McGann in the TV movie and the Big Finish spots, I wish dearly that he had been graced with a full run. It seems a cruel joke that his Doctor has had the least exposure to the mass audience.

I joined the Embassy as Jago's courage last year when I was at a loss for a name. I am so happy to be part of such a dedicated loving fan community like the embassy.
