John Barrowman on Torchwood's Abbreviated 3rd Series
John Barrowman is very disappointed with having Torchwood usual 13 episode series cut down to only 5 episodes this year he told The Radio Times reports BBC News.
"The decision was made to go to BBC One and then we were cut - from 13 episodes down to five."

Does anybody else think...
... that this picture is rather odd?

Just look at it and see what you think is going on.
The Best Series Ever Made
Here's a random list of the best shows ever made IMO. I decidedly don't like shows that others like such as the livid limp I LOVE LUCY and the horrid LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY. I also know the value of but never became a fan of such shows as SEINFELD, FRIENDS, and wanted to become a fan of but just couldn't of WILL AND GRACE. Other shows start off funny and interesting but phase out such as THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN. Other shows have great ideas behind them but not one truly good episode such as LOST. Others start off GREAT but end up terrible such as HEROES. I may or may not put some of these on the list.
here goes AND in on order:
LAND OF THE GIANTS
LAND OF THE LOST
LOST IN SPACE
THE TIME TUNNEL
SPACE:1999
DOCTOR WHO of course
VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA
VOYAGERS!
STAR TREK, the original series
STAR TREK the animated series
FANTASTIC VOYAGE

Convention Topic?
Hi Louis, not sure if this has been mentioned before but I think it would useful to have a topic dedicated to Doctor Who conventions/events/fandom in general. I think sometimes that threads can easily get buried in the General Doctor Who bit and people can easily miss some of the posts.
Hope that makes sense!
Cheers

Poll anomaly
Trying to vote in the BBC America poll in the side bar I hit the Vote button and get directed to the "CIA Info & Updates" thread in the Other Podcasts section with the error message on the page:

BBC America's 'Doctor Who Timeline'
I just found this on BBC America's website. It is a 'timeline' of the show from it's beginning to the present - but it is very superficial and has no real depth or info on it.
I though that I'd just throw this out there.

Cultdom podcast coming soon
Well here's my first 'Gallifrey blog' as I've been fairly busy.
As many of you who listen to the CIA podcast Ian 'The Sixth Doctor' and I have decided that after quite a few months of keeping CIA going - without really being able to push it forward - we are going to start our own podcast on Talkshoe.
Since I came up with the term we are going with the name Cultdom for this Talkshoe podcast - Talkshoe ID 54821
We will still run on Sunday (for some parts of the world early Monday) but at a later time of 3.30PM EDT.
This is so that we are clear of Podchock LIVE when it is up and running during Doctor Who Series 5 and also means that CIA under West can continue - should he so choose.
After chatting Ian and I decided to carry on with CIA upto and including Episode 100 (this is after a slight re-numbering that cleared out 0 minute shows.)

forum crossing over
Just wondered how we are doing in getting members of the old forums to cross over to here?
Chase seems to be keeping the forums alive but I think some people might need more of a push to get them over here.
