Correspondent Tara Wheeler
Tara Wheeler grew up with friends who were Trekkies. She knew there was something else out there waiting for her, but it wasn't until she was fourteen that she found it. Her first episode was 'The Five Doctors' so she likes to think that 'all of them' is her Doctor. She started knitting Doctor Who scarves the same year she discovered Doctor Who and thinks she's knitted somewhere around forty or so. She's met the actors who have played Two through Eight, plus most of their companions, writers, producers and staff.
People have asked us how they could link to us from their website. It is easy. Our URL is http://gallifreyanembassy.org (alternatively you can also use http://podshock.net). Once you land on our splash page going to either one of those URLs, it will automatically take you to our interactive site.
If you are linking directly to our previous interactive section of site (i.e. http://gallifreyanembassy.org/portal), please update your link to either the URL stated above or to http://gallifreyanmbassy.org/vortex).
Also if you are so inclined, we have a web banner graphic that can be used (see below to download the 468x60 JPEG banner graphic).
Just a quick "hello" to everyone and a big thank you to Louis and the guys for trusting me with this honor!
If you've heard the podcast I was lucky enough to participate in, you might know that I work in the film industry, and, after a horrible year, I've got a few projects that have come to the fore that are keeping me very busy. So, this will have to be brief.
I just wanted to elaborate on the Audible.com info Ken and the guys have been giving on the podcasts recently. I've been a subscriber for years and years (I drive over 20,000 miles a year here in LA!) and have discovered lots of books beyond the Who range that might be of interest. You probably know that Paul McGann and Tom Baker, particularly, have done a lot of audio books and radio drama between them, and some of them are available on Audible.
Torchwood: Children of Earth will be transmitted on BBC1 (in the UK) starting on Monday, 6th of July at 9pm. The mini-series will continue each consecutive night afterwards (i.e. Tuesday, 7th of July, and so on).

Mark Gatiss leads a 30 minute documentary on BBC Radio 4 exploring Doctor Who novelisations published by Target books. The audio documentary, On the Outside it Looked Like an Old Fashion Police Box is available to listen to via the BBC iPlayer (it is available outside of the UK) for the next seven days.
It features interviews with Terrence Dicks, Anneke Wills, and Russell T Davies among others, as well as audio clips from various audio book adaptations.
