Get A Life, A Second Life with the Gallifreyan Embassy and Doctor Who: Podshock
Join us for another Gallifreyan Embassy / Doctor Who: Podshock Meet Up!
Once again, we will be meeting up via Second Life for another exciting and fun meet up. Best of all, you don't have to drive there to attend. No matter where you may live in this world (or any other), as long as you have a broadband internet connection and a relatively contemporary computer you can join us!
After a very successful return to Second Life last May after having our first in 2006, we received tremendous amount of interest on us doing this on a more regular basis. We listened. We are now holding these meet ups seasonal.
War of the Time Lords: The Fake Season 25
In April, just before the real season 25 was to be set up, this April Fool's joke was published in Jersey Jagaroth's MOUTH ON LEGS newsletter.
Like the TRIAL season (gag, gag, gag) this story would have separate parts but form a whole story. The first two parts are called INHERITANCE OF THE DALEKS...by Ben Ahrenevich
Terry Nation Spoke about Blake's 7 come back
In an interview in Jan of 1993, I believe, Nation expressed that the Federation would have to crack down hard on its citizens, facing anarchists and rebels, some worse than themselves and some better. Avon has been a prisoner since Gauda Prime on a distant planet, like Napolen on St Helena. He has made propadganda broadcasts on behalf of the Federation. He wasn't brainwashed, he has done so in order to stay alive. He is very calculatingly doing what he has to stay alive. This had made the rebels despise him, of course, and the Federation despises him. He may even despise himself. But he's a survivor.
Jersey Jagaroths Season 25 possibilities
Gosh if anyone has this April Newsletter from the fan club Jersey Jagoroths from before season 25 was aired, let me know, I'd like a photocopy! It has an April fool's plot line for season 25 which was good.
They also someplace else an interview with Terry Nation about how Blake's 7 would have continued if he brought it back. It had to do with either Blake hunting Avon or Avon hunting Blake and one of them or both of them using Vila, the only three that might have been alive. And a new Liberator.
