The Waters Of Mars premieres tomorrow (Sunday) in the UK. First new episode since April. The beginning of the end for the 10th Doctor:

The Waters Of Mars (the next Doctor Who episode) has airdates in 5 Countries now:
UK (and other territories where you can see BBC One) - Sunday 15 November 7PM GMT BBC One/BBC HD simulcast
UK - Wednesday 18 November 8PM GMT BBC Three
NEW ZEALAND - Sunday 29 November 7:30PM Prime TV
AUSTRALIA - Sunday 6 December 7:30PM ABC1
CANADA - Saturday 19 December 9PM EST (6PM PST) SPACE
USA - Saturday 19 December 9PM, Midnight, and 3AM EST (6PM, 9PM, and Midnight PST) BBC America

Doctor Who Confidential will have a 1 hour episode - Is There Life On Mars? The episode will premiere on 15 November at 8PM GMT (BBC Three/BBC HD simulcast) and 3:30AM (BBC Three only).

There will be a full length podcast commentary for The Waters Of Mars like all recent Doctor Who episodes. At the moment, this commentary is scheduled to air on BBC Radio 7 late Saturday 14 November at Midnight GMT. I am aware that this is 19 hours *before* the TV showing of The Waters Of Mars. Remember that the commentary generally goes online for a week after broadcast and that Radio 7's programming can be heard through their Listen Again service for a week, so nobody has to spoil themselves for the episode to ensure that they hear the commentary. Meanwhile, if Radio 7 actually does air the commentary before BBC One airs the episode and you hear the commentary, try not to spoil everybody you know on the plot before the show airs. Thank you.

BBC America will probably treat Waters Of Mars and the 2 part David Tennant finale as a 3 episode special. They plan to announce airdates for the last 2 episodes in early December and at the moment expect to air them in the holiday season. Special BBC America events related to the Waters Of Mars:
Sunday 13 December 1PM EST/10AM PST - Doctor Who marathon with "best episodes", including The Next Doctor and Planet Of The Dead.
Saturday 19 December 8PM EST/5PM PST (with the usual 2 repeats later at night) - Doctor Who special, 1 hour (no details)
Saturday 19 December 9PM EST/6PM PST (with the usual 2 repeats) - 90 minute slot for The Waters Of Mars, definitely uncut
Saturday 19 December 10:30PM EST/7:30PM PST (with the usual 2 repeast) - 30 minute Graham Norton Doctor Who special, which will probably be a cutdown version of the Graham Norton show which aired on BBC One earlier this week and BBC America tonight.

The new animated Doctor Who story Dreamland (starring David Tennant and Georgia Moffett) will air soon. 6 part serialized version 21 to 26 November on the Red Button service. Saturday 5 December 10AM GMT on BBC Two (45 minute 1 part version). Airdate and time on BBC HD is unknown.

The official cast list for the 2010 Doctor Who series:

The Doctor: Matt Smith
Amy Pond: Karen Gillan

USA - Doctor Who - Series 3 (The Runaway Bride and the 13 episode 2007 series with Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones) are now distributed to Public TV stations by BBC Worldwide Americas, not American Public TV. Series 4 also seems to be available to buy - start date for Series 4 on Public TV stations is unknown. BBC Worldwide Americas also distributes classic Doctor Who to stations.

If you're a PBS station airing Doctor Who and I don't have you listed - contact me. If you're watching Doctor Who on a PBS station that's not on this list - contact me AND tell me the day, time, and episode that aired so I can track things down (some stations have websites where schedule information is - lacking).

The public TV stations known to have bought The Runaway Bride and Series 3:
WXXI 21 Rochester, NY
WTTW 11 Chicago, IL (currently in first run)
WGVU/WGVK 35,52 Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo, MI
WILL 12 Urbana, IL
WTVP 47 Peoria, IL
Iowa Public TV
Idaho Public TV
Wisconsin Public TV
Milwaukee Public TV
KUED 7 Salt Lake City, UT
OETA Oklahoma
KLRU 18 Austin, TX
Alaska Public TV
WSKG/WSKA 46,30 Binghamton/Elmira, NY
KERA 13 Dallas, TX (currently in first run)

Now, I am confident that there are more stations with rights to Series 3 than that. But these are the stations who have contacted me or scheduled the show. Unlike previous years, we are in the dark till a station comes forward or new Who appears in their schedules.

Series 2 is currently available to public TV stations in an American Public TV package until March 31, 2010. For the Series 1 and 2 packages, stations have bought the rights to cycle through the episodes 4 times. They are not required to do so. American Public TV is no longer offering Series 1 - I do not know if BBC Worldwide Americas will offer those stations to public TV stations now or not.

2 Public TV stations currently have rights to air the classic Doctor Who run (1963-1989), but not New Who. KBTC 28 Tacoma, WA is airing Peter Davison episodes. WHRO 15 Norfolk, VA is airing Tom Baker episodes.

Can you get feedback in on their latest episode before they record their next one - good luck with that.

Robert Carrie King reviews Doctor Who topics (DVDs and news, mostly) on this Talkshoe program. Frequent cast member on the Cultdom Collective.
47. The Deadly Assassin and Sarah Jane: The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith. Opinion is split, as one person likes The Deadly Assassin, and the other thinks it could have been much better with some 2000s style tweaking.

The Tennantcast http://tennantcast.com
Kelsey, Kari, Flossie, and friends get together to dish on the latest David Tennant news.
25. "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer". Sadly the podcast notes are garbled and next to impossible to read due to some computer code. And this one arrived too recently for me to hear it yet. But the girls are back from vacation/illness, David Tennant has a US pilot, and I was able to make out the words "climate change". Post apocalyptic Tennantcast, perhaps?

The Wailing Fangirl http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/22228

Bigger On The Inside http://www.earth-2.net
Mike and Dan decide to do their own podcast exploring each Doctor Who story in broadcast order. It is a very different style from Jonathan's. Again - can they pull it off? Part of the Earth-2 family of podcasts. Warning - explicit language (swearing). If your headphones leak any sound at all - do not listen at work.
Current episodes
24. The Web Of Fear. One story to rule them all. One story to guide them. And other stuff.
25. Fury From The Deep and The Wheel In Space. Victoria goes out on a (relative) high in our hosts' minds. But all thoughts of Victoria are sucked out the airlock by the arrival of Zoe Herriot.
Coming soon-ish - 26. The Dominators and The Mind Robber.

Hoo On Who http://hooonwho.com
Fan reviews of recent Doctor Who DVDs by David Hooie, frequently with a guest co-host.
Current episode:
#14. The Caves Of Androzani. Well, eventually David reviews The Caves Of Androzani. First he goes a bit off format to have an excellent interview with podcaster/radio host Steve Glosson, host of SHoE, Geek Out Loud, and the Big Honkin' Show. Also, David is planning a get together with listeners at Gallifrey 21. Now, if I'm right about the hot tub he wants to meet at, he may have to relocate the meeting to the somewhat cooler pool just a few feet away - my memory is that the hot one is rather small. Rest assured, there is a detailed review of The Caves Of Androzani in the episode.

The Cloister Room http://thecloisterroom.com
Tom Dickinson begins a solo Doctor Who podcast effort with short shows on short subject that get to the point, bulldoze through the point, back up to ground the point down some more, then flee the scene before the police arrive.
Current episode - 4. Requiem For A Drama. Tom returns after 4 weeks away and looks at shows that are cancelled before their time. Is it worth investing in a show that might soon (or has already) been cancelled. Tom's view is similar to mine (yes, it is worth it), but you're downloading Tom's show for his opinions on this.

Tachyon TV http://www.tachyon-tv.co.uk
Irregular and irreverant podcast looking at the world of Doctor Who with a funhouse mirror and coming out the other side holding a plush toy that wasn't really the one you wanted but you'll keep it anyway because you can give it to your girlfriend to impress her. It's that kind of show.
Current segment - a short appeal by "Rula Lenska".

MMM Commentaries/Fantragic http://www.mmmcommentaries.com
Roving Australian podcasting gang, including Trevor from the DWO Whocast. Commentaries on Doctor Who episodes, Star Wars films, some Stargate stuff, and others. The Frantragic episodes look at Doctor Who and other sci-fi news. Fantragic episodes are on a different iTunes feed from MMM Commentary episodes.
Current Doctor Who episode - Journey's End. If the description in the iTunes tag is anything to go by, this running commentary on the Doctor Who Series 4 finale will not have a happy ending.
