TARDIS Damage?

I originally posted this on my tumblelog: T.O.E. Tumblelog.

What happened to the side of the TARDIS? Doctor Who continues shooting despite the snow fall. Hey, perhaps they could rearrange the episode schedule and shoot the Christmas special now since Cardiff is covered with real snow!

If you want to see what's happened to the TARDIS and which episode they are filming:

WARNING: it contains potential spoilers.
I have seen some film- that still is misleading. It is actually some paper burning and floating in front of the TARDIS.
How about the INSIDE of the Tardis ? I wouldn't be upset if the console room looked more like it did in the T.Baker - Davison - C. Baker era... a little cleaner and less "organic". In "time Crash" both the Fifth and Tenth doctors mentioned that it was similar to changing your desktop background.
I would also LOVE to see more of the inside of the Tardis. it's way, way more than JUST the console room. Remember Logopolis and that era ? Lot of stuff with other rooms, tardis-within-a-tardis, jettisoning unused rooms, etc etc etc. In the old series we were led to believe there were just miles and miles of rooms in the Tardis, many unexplored by even the Doctor himself.
In the preview for the new series we see the 11th Doctor working on repairing the TARDIS inside. We have also seen the picture with the stairs running in it.
How much of a change to expect - I don't know, but I think overall there won't be very many changes inside.
Personally I would like to see a cleaner TARDIS interior harking back to the classic series, but I don't think it's going to happen.
