In a special message sent to the SFX Weekender in his acceptance speech for winning Best Comic at the SFX Awards, Neil Gaiman has confirmed that he is writing an episode for the second Matt Smith season of Doctor Who.

Great news. I haven't read his books but he has a massive reputation. Doctor Who is now in a postion to attract some major acting and writing talent.
i'll be looking forward to that episode! i have read a few of his book's and he's a really great writer.
