USA Today Unravels and Reveals Tara Wheeler's Scarves to the World

USA Today's Pop Candy showcases our own Tara Wheeler in the article, "This 'Doctor Who' fan's passion shows… in scarves"
Actor Matt Smith (The 11th Doctor) had been photographed wearing the scarf that Tara had knitted for Anthony Burdge (contributing author of the book, The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who) who attended the Doctor Who screening in New York at the East Village Cinema. The photos had been used in a previous Pop Candy article which Tara had spotted her scarf.
The article talks of Tara's scarf knitting, the book she is working on, and her website, wittylittleknitter.com.
We congratulate Tara on getting some lovin' from USA Today.

so does this mean that matt smith may want to get his own doctor who scarf?
Not sure if he wants to get his own scarf but this is how it happened (By the way Anthony here, and the scarf was actually knitted for my wife Jessica as an anniversary present)
I was 5th in the line up (check out my fan interviews on Podshock 192) and when Smith and Gillan arrived he complimented the scarf and proceeded to sign my DWM 419. When I got inside and sat down I was in the first row facing the panel of guests. He again complimented the scarf and I asked if he would like to try it on and he said sure and took it from me ;-)--now lots of pics are all over the place of that and rightly so Tara gets props for knitting it. :-)
