Sorry, just didnt grab me. Episode had nothing on Blink. I didnt even care about the characters that were bumped off by the angels. Lets hope episode 2 is better.
The story lacked a lot of originality. For example, the talk on the walkie talkies was a direct copy with the silence in the library's phantom speaker on the space suit.
The reveal of the angels (plural) was great, the bit with Amy and the video in the pod was great, but again, the shear scaryness in Blink when the character entering the house had no idea an angel was creaping up on him was so perfectly executed (very alien 1). The angel moments in this episode had nothing on that at all.
