Doctor Who: Series 31 to Hit Blu-ray and DVD on November 9th

One of our LA Correspondents (I can't say which just now) give me word early Monday morning of this article in the LA Times concerning the release of the Blu-ray and DVD of the latest series of Doctor Who (starring Matt Smith). We always suspected it would be November as that has been traditionally the release month of the series box sets in the past, just in time for the holiday shopping season. According to this article by from the LA Times, that date will be November 9, 2010.
In addition, they will include extra content shot for this release.
The new 'Doctor Who' season will hit home video with a tantalizing extra | Los Angeles Times: "I just got word that the BBC is poised to announce that 'Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series' will hit Blu-ray and DVD on November 9 and that it will contain a truly tantalizing extra: two newly filmed sequences, both written by Steven Moffat and available only in this collection.
They are called 'Meanwhile, in the TARDIS ... ' and, as that title suggests, they are drop-in moments that show what happens between the episodes -- I suspect they're the comedy mortar between the story bricks, and with Moffat's wry sensibility and the daft charms of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, I'm guessing these interstitial escapades have a chance to be pretty entertaining."
