The Angels Take Manhattan was a fitting send off for 'the Ponds.' I had just one ittsy-bittsy problem with the story and that is this, while Rory is standing on the roof of Winter Quay working out how he could avoid being sent back in time by the angels we are shown the street below where he and Amy would plunge to their paradox… there was plenty of traffic on it, West 63rd Street if I'm not mistaken, so tell me, why hadn't anyone on the street noticed that rather tall, dare I say, majorly massive mama, the one who was dressed in a flowing white robe, wearing a crown and carrying a torch, not a smegging flashlight, but a proper torch, a rather hugely majestic proper torch at that and yet we hear not a single reaction from the streets? How is this possible? How can it be that Lady Liberty visits Winter Quay without a single shriek from the city that never sleeps? I love New York.

If I were to rank the episodes from the first half of Season 7 from most favored to least favored, without a doubt, Asylum Of The Daleks is #1, #2 would be The Angels Take Manhattan, Dinosaurs On A Spaceship comes in at #3, in fourth would be The Power Of Three and at #5, A Town Called Mercy.

Louis, to answer your question about season 7 prequels, there was but one offered through iTunes and that was for Asylum Of The Daleks. In my opinion, Pond Life could well be considered one, even though it wasn't billed as such.

Through the magic of television, audio adventures, stage plays and the like, this fictional force for good that we call 'the Doctor' can simultaneously manifest himself 8 times over by 8 different actors in 8 different productions and not one need be a repeat or a re-run. No other program can make such a claim.

Happy Travels!
