John Barrowman on Torchwood's Abbreviated 3rd Series
John Barrowman is very disappointed with having Torchwood usual 13 episode series cut down to only 5 episodes this year he told The Radio Times reports BBC News.
"The decision was made to go to BBC One and then we were cut - from 13 episodes down to five."
'Very special'
Barrowman said the new episodes were "incredible, I have no doubt about that".
"But personally, I felt like we were being punished.
"Other shows move from BBC Three and Two to One and they don't get cut.
"So why are we? It felt like every time we moved we had to prove ourselves."
Barrowman made the point that other shows move to BBC One and are not cut down. On the other hand, series creator Russell T Davies does not feel the audience will be lost with the format change.
