Gentlemen:

A great interview. I liked the background sounds, made me feel like I was at the next table eavesdropping!

One thing caught my attention: as an occaisionally aspiring writer, I have been submitting pieces for publication. So far nothing has been accepted but all have stated that they are too busy to critique my work. How are you supposed to improve your craft when all you get is "sorry, this doesn't fit our needs" with no idea of why?  If editors want better feedstock, they need to invest in the fertilizer!
