CBBC Autumn/Winter Announcements Include Dreamland and SJA

CBBC has confirmed that the animated Doctor Who adventure Dreamland starring David Tennant as the Doctor along with Georgia Moffet playing companion Cassie Rice and with David Warner playing the villainous leader of the Viperox will be premiering on the BBC One red button interactive service and the Doctor Who website first.

The seven-part series, written by Phil Ford will then be broadcast on CBBC and the BBC HD channel this autumn. No actual dates have been announced as of yet, but it should fall somewhere between the upcoming specials, Waters of Mars and the final two specials with David Tennant.

The Doctor Who website will offer a production blog leading up to the animated series premiere.

CBBC also announced the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures stating that there will be a brand new website accompanying it offering a trailer maker, monster hunt, video diaries from the cast, web games, and exclusive behind the scenes videos.

We suspect that in both cases, the web content will be locked down to the UK only.
