For those of you like me who didn't/couldn't make it to the East Village Cinema yesterday then here's a few photo's of the cast posing for the camera. Hmmm I see a scarf in the background in one... Hmmm.
The cover for the Radio Times one of the UK's many TV listings magazines, originally BBC Centric has another of it's Doctor Who specials. Within there is an Interview with Matt Smith and Steven Moffat. Also there have been a bunch of new promo photo's released to the waiting world. One of the Impossible Astronaut and the other of the Silence. Pictures to follow with the pictures of the Silence and Radio Times cover coming last, to avoid spoilers for those who want to wait until April the 23rd.
If you like Rebecca Black's "Friday" song, you're gonna love this too… (everyone else… well, be warned).

BBC America has released another 'Doctor Who Insider' video, this is Part 2, The Doctor 2011 Behind-the-Scenes.
The Late Late Show with Craig Furgeson's guest this time around is Karen Gillan, the show is on April the 13th, for those of you who want to go and live in the or will be in LA around the time you can visit Craig's CBS website for tickets. Simply call the new number at 206-984-3543 and follow the instructions to leave feedback (it works just like any simple voice mail system.
As always, we don't charge anything for calling this number, but your local phone carrier may depending on your plan. So please be aware that this is a 206 area code in the Washington state area in the US.
The call box is not bigger on the inside, so please limit your messages to a minute or two.
If you want to be one of the first people on the planet to see the season opener to series 6 of Doctor Who then you need to be at the Village East Cinema in Manhattan at 7pm on Monday the 11th of April (this coming Monday!)
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Steven Moffat, aaaaaaannnnddd Alex Kingston! The panel will be moderated by Chris Hardwick otherwise known as @nerdist and will be recording for the Nerdist Podcast. The tickets are be warened FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!
As I mentioned in the title there is a minor spoiler, as another new clip from The Impossible Astronaut/ Day of the Moon is shown between interview takes. For those who don't mind it's a great little interview with both Matt and Karen.
Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill will be on hand at the Barnes & Noble located at 555 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY at 12 noon this Friday, April 8, 2011 signing copies of the DVD box set of Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series (season 31).
According to the Barnes & Noble website, "You will need a wristband to join the signing line for this event. Wristbands will be distributed starting at 9AM on Friday, April 8 with the purchase of the Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series boxed Set. Please call store for additional details."
One can only assume this would apply to the Blu-ray set as well, but best to call the store to confirm at 212-697-3048.

The BBC America bus advertising campaign for the new Doctor Who 2011 series has rolled out in New York City. They have also used the occasion to post their first image to Instagram (Apple App Store link). They had the account on the free social photo sharing service for some time, but hadn't posted anything to it until now. The first photo shared on it is this one of the Doctor Who bus side panel (see left).
Keep your eyes out for buses in NY sporting the new side ads promoting the new series.
