The animated Doctor Who adventure, Dreamland starring David Tennant as the 10th Doctor will be shown daily starting on Saturday, the 21st of November 2009. The six episode animated series will be shown on the BBC Red Button and the Doctor Who website (most likely locked down to UK visitors only unfortunately).
Being billed as "Doctor Who meets a 50's monster B-movie," the mini series is written by Phil Ford and takes place in the USA (ironically as of yet there has been no announced dates or releases for US fans for this animated series), Area 51 (in Nevada) known for its alien lore. The Doctor finds himself in Dreamland, a secret base in the US which leads him on a mission to rescue Rivesh Mantilax from the threat of the Viperox as well as the American military of course.

Last week I had the pleasure of being a guest on the Sci-Fi Party Line podcast. I was invited to come on episode 39 of the podcast hosted by Cat ( @fancyfembot ) and Eric Escamilla ( @Bullitt33 ) (we just had Eric on with us in Doctor Who: Podshock 169).
In it, we discuss The Sarah Jane Adventures episode, The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith which guest stars David Tennant, the preview clip of Dreamland (the new animated Doctor Who adventure), and the upcoming Doctor Who special, Waters of Mars. We even ponder on the upcoming new series starring Matt Smith with Steven Moffat. Plus we touch upon Torchwood as well in this episode.
"It feels different this time."

Health issues kept me from getting last week's column produced and out. They also ate much of the time I would have spent on this issue, so crossing fingers for a good result.
A quick follow-up to "Collision," which I think is heading to our screens quickly.
Sorry I've been quiet for a while, but its been a very busy few weeks, with preparations for this week's highly successful first event for Who York - An Evening with Louise Jameson, work, and having a fantastic time this past weekend in Orlando for the inaugural Hurricane Who convention! They've announced year 2 of this convention, and its now a fixture in my calendar, and you would do well to do the same!
What better way to whet or rather 'wet' your appetite for Waters of Mars coming to BBC One on Sunday, November 15th by joining us for our seasonal meet up on Second Life the day before, Saturday the 14th of November.
You thought things were frightening on Friday the 13th, wait until Saturday the 14th when we all come together once again for a Gallifreyan Embassy / Doctor Who: Podshock virtual meet up! The following day you may be busy watching and re-watching the long awaited next Doctor Who special, Waters of Mars starring David Tennant, but you got nothing going on the day before, right? Now you do!
"Ah, you come to help me find the Zero Room. Welcome aboard."

David Tennant, best known to Doctor Who viewers as the current and tenth Doctor in the long running BBC British series has been cast as the title character in an hour-long pilot for NBC in the US called, "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer."
Having already completed his work playing the lead role as The Doctor in Doctor Who since 2005 after Christopher Eccleston, with his remaining three stories being shown later this year as specials (starting with Waters of Mars on the 15th of this month on BBC), Tennant has already been seen doing American television as the new host for Masterpiece Contemporary (formerly Masterpiece Theater) for PBS.
