The whole broohaha over "the oncoming storm"? Just look at how the UNIT personnel react to the Doctor! They all would be honored to meet him, but they realize that death follows him around. So it looks like humans join the Draconians and the Daleks in their myths surrounding the Doctor. He brings the darkness with him.

Below are quotes from some wikis around the web:

The Daleks knew the Doctor as the "Ka Faraq Gatri", (which meant the "Bringer of Darkness" or "Destroyer of Worlds") (DWM: Bringer of Darkness, referencing DWN: Remembrance of the Daleks). The Doctor claimed that the Daleks also called him "the Oncoming Storm" (DW: The Parting of the Ways).

The second name was also used by the Draconians to refer to the Doctor, though probably in a less pejorative sense. (NA: Love and War)

In "The Parting of the Ways", the Doctor claims that the Daleks call him "The Oncoming Storm" — this name is used by the Draconians (whose word for it is "Karshtakavaar") to refer to the Doctor in the Virgin New Adventures novel Love and War by Paul Cornell.

Have we done the crash of the Byzantium yet?
