Yesterday the collection that the BBC had sent to Auction at Bonhams went under the Hammer.
The Torchwood SUV went for 18,000 pound Sterling and Jackson Lakes Costume Brought in 3,120 Pounds.

It should be also noted that the two Planet of the Dead red Busses were removed before the Auction began, which makes me wonder what the BBC has planed for those.
At the moment on the UK E-bay site, a synth from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, once belonging to John Baker is up for sale, and dates from the Pertwee Era. The Current Price is at $5,993 or 3,877 Pounds Sterling.

New publicity image and new promo trailer for Doctor Who series 31 released, Torchwood the Digital Comic, James Corden to Guest Star?, Neil Gaiman Confirms, Going Once - Going Twice, Gallifrey 21, and more.

James Corden of Gavin and Stacey is set to appear in a guest role in Doctor Who, so says The Sun. According to an article they published, the comic was seen learning his lines on a Cardiff bound train heading to the Doctor Who set.
The article states that Corden is a huge Doctor Who fan and jumped at the chance to appear in the series.
No details where given on what character or what type of character he might be playing.

The new trailer promo for the first series of the 11th Doctor starring Matt Smith, series 31, has been released and it continues with the "spin cycle of doom" theme we saw with the publicity image released earlier this week. They do announce "Easter" as the start of the new series at the end of the promo. No, you don't need special glasses to see this, this version is not in 3D.

The Actor George Waring Died on Monday 15th Febuary fice days short of his 85th Birthday.
He was Known to Classic fans through the Partick Troughton Era Story, The Ice Warriors where he played the Scientist Arden, who Discovers an Ice Warrior burried in the Ice and unfortunately becomes the Warrior's first Victim. The Ice Warriors Story is as of yet not Available on DVD but is probibly obtainable through your Favourite Auction House on VHS.
News has filtered through Galifrey Base News room that the Winner of the Design a Console for the Tardis Competition, has Been anounced. The Winner In the 11-12 year olds Susannah, Had her Console chosen as the over all winner. Which apparently will be seen in Episode 7 of the New Season.

The new Series of Doctor Who is reported now to Start in April, and to that a new Trailer will be shown on the BBC on Saturday the 20th of Feb. This Information was released through thier usual Source of Premier PR. A new unopened copy of Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead on Blu-Ray disc (US) starring David Tennant and Michelle Ryan will be given to a randomly chosen current Podshock Supporting Subscriber.
We will announce who the disc will be going to at our upcoming Gallifreyan Embassy / Doctor Who: Podshock Meet Up on Second Life on the 20th of February (you need not be present to receive the disc).
This 10th Doctor special, originally transmitted in April 2009 is the first Doctor Who television episode offered in high definition (1080i). It also contains the 60 minute behind-the-scenes Doctor Who: Confidential episode. Note: This is a US version of the Blu-ray disc.

As we reported in a @Podshock tweet over the last weekend, writer Neil Gaiman has finally confirmed his involvement in writing an upcoming story for Doctor Who. In a message sent to the SFX Weekender convention this past weekend accepting being awarded 'Best Comic' at the SFX Awards, he acknowledge that he is writing an episode for next year's series of Doctor Who (Series 32, Matt Smith's series 2).
There has been much talk and speculation about him writing for the series, but up until now, it hadn't been confirmed.
