Steven Moffat, Explains....

In DWM Steven Moffat has his own page at the beginning of the magazine called "Production Notes" well in DWM 426 (That's the Cybermen Special and it's why I own it!) Steven goes into explaining the series split and there are a few thing which come to the fore.

1.) Dear Steven even isn't sure even at this time, as to how the series will be numbered in the future, seeing as he's called the series 1, 5, 11, 31 and Fnarg by his own admittance. Fnarg being my personal favourite.

2.) Spoilers or not, so if you don't like possible spoilers skip the first paragraph that Steven has written.

GT Magazine's World Exclusive with New Doctor Who: Matt Smith

GTAs Doctor Who returns with a new team and a new look this spring, GT Magazine eagerly stepped on board the TARDIS for Matt Smith's first ever interview with the gay press. And in 47 years of the show, he is the first Doctor to ever hold the cover spot of a gay magazine.

The April issue of GT Magazine is also sporting unprecedented coverage of the new series, with exclusive content including the first ever interview with the latest addition to the cast, Arthur Darvill. They speak with the Doctor's assistant Karen Gillan, head writer Steven Moffat, executive producer Piers Wenger and a selection of other characters and creatives, both returning and new.

What's more, writer Gareth Roberts reveals that Matt Smith is set to appear pretty much naked in episode eleven, while costume designer Ray Holman tells us what kind of underwear the new Doctor prefers…

David Tennant: "…Nothing I say can really help him."

Reader's Digest David Tennant CoverREADER'S DIGEST EXCLUSIVE:
David Tennant has nothing to say to Matt Smith

David Tennant has admitted he has "nothing to say" to new Time Lord, Matt Smith.

Tennant told Reader's Digest, in an exclusive interview for the December issue, that he'd spoken to his successor several times "but there's nothing to say. I think we both thought we'd be able to exchange lots of ideas. But actually it's none of my business how Matt does it and nothing I say can really help him."

Talking about his final foray as the Doctor in this year's Christmas special, Tennant says "This year we've done something different. It is still set in Christmas, but it's perhaps not got quite as much, er…Christmas cheer as before." Tennant adds that come Christmas Day he'll be watching his own send off. "Just to enjoy the moment. It's my last Doctor Who – it will be nice to witness that."
