Mike, Ken, Billy at Gallifrey20Mike Doran first saw Doctor Who on TV Ontario in the late 1970s and has been a fan of Doctor Who since childhood. He attended his first local group meeting at a young age and has been involved with Canadian Doctor Who fandom for more than twenty-five years. This involvement has included running local groups, editing fanzines and organizing events of all sizes. A former organizer with The Doctor Who Information Network (North America's largest and oldest Doctor Who fan club Mike still works on Who Party (North America's oldest Doctor Who convention) and other Doctor Who related events in the Toronto area.
Over the years Mike has also had contributions published in a number of collections including "Doctor Who The Handbook: The Seventh Doctor" from Virgin Publishing and "Time Unincorporated Volume 2" from Mad Norweigian Press.
Mike currently contributes to the Doctor Who News Page, the Doctor Who Blog and of course Doctor Who: Podshock and the Gallifreyan Embassy.
